According to the referee's report, the former Liverpool man waited in the tunnel for the Espanyol squad, shouting: "I'm waiting for you, come here, you're a waste of space".
Referee Martinez Munuera included the incident in his post-match report after dishing out eight yellow cards and two reds to the visitors, who lost their heads in the heavy defeat.
Munuera's report confirmed that Pape Diop was dismissed for insulting Suarez's mother, which led to the angry scenes in the tunnel after the game.
“At the end of the game, once in the tunnel, Barça’s No.9, Suarez, Luis, while the Espanyol players were coming up the stairs, waited for them and shouted at them on various occasions," the report reads.
