Outrage in Nigeria and Cross River as Ayade regime mobilises supporters against Supreme Court!
There is outrage both within and outside Cross River State as Ayade, in total defiance of civic ethics and democratic norms, yesterday in Calabar mobilised his supporters against justice and the Supreme Court, the apex court of the land. Some of the placards carried by his supporters indicated that the Supreme Court was planning to steal his mandate.
As if that was not enough, his supporters also paraded and danced around the airport with a casket. These unbecoming behaviour signify and indicate how low morals and ethics have slid and decayed under the Ayade Administration. And make no mistake about it, the demonstration was procured and paid for. Indeed there was reported a skirmish in the airport when the hired boys were not paid even the 3k promised them.
I call on my brother Gov Ayade and his supporters to stop debasing both our state and the high leadership institution of government.
Joe Agi is a citizen of CRS, a member of PDP and he does not under any circumstances, deserve such illtreatment. No well brought person will allow such despicable behaviour. As is it written in the scriptures and I quote, "from their fruits, you shall know them!"
As I had written in the past, it is the right if every citizen to seek redress through the courts and no one should be wishing another person dead as the Ayade supporters have clearly done. Moreover, without justice, democracy is reduced to tyranny!
Our character as Cross Riverians must be maintained and protected. We are known as civilised and urbane people and we are the envy of many other states. A legacy which the Ayade regime seems to be bent on destroying!
