and its socio-economic life in the outgoing year? We bring you a review
of the personalities we consider as most influential in 2015.
However, you are free to disagree.
1. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu: Unarguably the most
influential Lagosian in 2015. The Jagaban led his brainchild party, the
All Progressives Congress to wrest power from the vicious grip of the
Peoples Democratic Party. He is unarguably the most influential person
of 2015.
2. Babatunde Raji Fashola: Former Lagos governor
Babatunde Raji Fashola and now super minister of Power, Housing and
Works comes in second after the Jagaban as the most influential Lagosian
of 2015. No one will like to argue with the place of Fashola in
national politics today.
3. Jimi Agbaje: The Peoples Democratic candidate in
the 2015 election gave the incumbent governor Akinwumi Ambode a run for
his money in the controversial election. He comes in third for his role
in the election.
4. Oba Akinolu of Lagos: Then enter the controversial Oba Akinolu who stirred ethnic tension with his Igbo rant.
5. Olamide: The Bariga born musician Olamide may not
be a politician, but he certainly has the most influence on Lagosians
in 2015. He concerts are sell out and he continues to dish out hits to
all music lovers.
