Although the rapper was scheduled to be performing alongside girlfriend Nicki Minaj on New Year's Eve, he has cancelled in order to fulfil community service in Philadelphia, according to reports.
While Nicki will be going ahead with the gig at Drai's club in Las Vegas, Meek will be having a distinctly less glamorous time following a 2008 conviction in his hometown, Page Six claimed.

After an alleged violation of his probation, the hip-hop star has been barred from leaving town until his sentencing on February 5.
The All Eyes On You hitmaker set social media alight with engagement speculation earlier this month, after gifting Nicki a heart-shaped diamond ring, which she shared on Instagram, accompanied by the caption: "Now this is what I'm talking about baby. Lol. Love you."
However, the Anaconda crooner later dispelled the rumours in an interview with Billboard magazine.

"He and I are not engaged," she confirmed. "But he said he would like to give me three rings before we get married.
"I don't know what's going to happen with he and I. I just know right now we are really, really enjoying each other's company."
