Chelsea News: Midfielder monitored by Man United, Drogba's return, Costa concern

Manchester United are monitoring Chelsea starlet Ruben Loftus-Cheek, according to reports.
The 19-year-old is regarded as one of the best prospects to come through the Blues academy in years.
The Daily Telegraph claims United are watching Loftus-Cheek's contract situation as he has just 18 months left on his current deal.
The England Under-21 star is reportedly unhappy at his lack of first-team opportunities.

Former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba wants to return to Stamford Bridge as the club's manager one day.
The Ivorian says he has an agreement in place to return to the Premier League champions once he finishes his playing career.
Drogba won four league titles, the Champions League, four FA Cups and three League Cups in his time at Chelsea.
"I want to give back to the club which has given so much to me. I have agreed that with the club directors," the 37-year-old told BBC Africa.

Chelsea will spend the next few weeks drawing up a shortlist of possible striker targets in January, according to The Guardian.
Jose Mourinho has growing concerns over the form of Diego Costa who has been unable to replicate his form of last season.
The Blues have been linked with the likes of Antoine Griezmann and Gonzalo Higuain in recent weeks.
Costa has scored just four times in 17 matches this season.
