Girl, 14, delivers fellow student's baby in school toilets

A TEENAGE student delivered the baby of a fellow pupil in the school’s toilets.

The knocked-up student went to the toilet after complaining of stomach pain.
And when she was inside the loo she went into labour.
Cries could be heard from the lavatory where teachers were stunned to find the 14-year-old makeshift midwife helped deliver the newborn.

Deputy educational officer (DEO) A Usha Rani said: “After sometime the students and teachers heard cries of a newborn baby and were shocked to find the girl with the baby.
Stunned teachers were completely unaware the girl was pregnant.

Mr Rani added: “Both the mother and the baby girl were handed over to police.”
Cops have filed a rape case against a man known to the alleged victim, from Hyderabad, India, after her father filed a complaint.

The DEO has suspended the school headmaster and has questioned teachers on why they failed to notice her pregnancy.
The girl’s teacher said: “She is very slim and would walk with a dupatta on her stomach and she would sit with her bag on her lap, so we didn’t know.”
