Love Actually's Joanna is all grown up and basically unrecognisable

THE climax of Love Actually featured a 10-year-old belting out Mariah Carey and stealing the spotlight at her school's Christmas show.

Little Joanna was Sam's American crush, who warbled All I Want For Christmas Is You and was chased by her admirer through an airport.
But while we all know where Sam, aka Thomas Sangster, ended up (he stars in Game Of Thrones), we never knew what happened to actress Olivia Olson.
Well, little Joanna is now 23 and has grown into a gorgeous young woman.

Miss Olson, from Los Angeles, is pretty much unrecognisable from her Instagram selfies, but that's hardly surprising – it's been 12 years since she was on the big screen in Love Actually.
However, Olivia has stuck around in showbiz, although you may not have realised it.
The actress has voiced several cartoon characters, including Vanessa Doofenshmirtz in Phineas and Ferb and Marceline The Vampire Queen in cult animated series Adventure Time.

You won't believe how much these child actors have changed! From Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen to Mara Wilson from Matilda have a look and be amazed.

 

 

While she rarely pops up at A-list premieres, Olivia regularly appears at Comic-Con events.
Thankfully, she hasn't wasted her pipes, even releasing her debut EP Beauty Is Chaos in 2013.
We're personally hoping for a Christmas number one comeback any day now.
