Since the arrival of Sunday Oliseh as the chief coach of the team, Nigeria have managed only four goals in five competitive matches.

L-R:
Amaju Pinnick, Sunday Oliseh, and Mohammed Sanusi, general-secretary,
NFF, during the inauguration of Oliseh as the Super Eagles new coach.
Despite the fact that the Super Eagles remain unbeaten in their last five games, Nigerians are yet to be convinced on the pattern of play of the current crop of players that make-up the team having struggled against Niger, Swaziland and Tanzania.
Sunday Oliseh will certainly experience his coaching birth in 2016 as his team will battle the Pharaohs of Egypt at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers to be hosted in Gabon as well as begin their quest to qualify for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
