Nigerians Top Bowie State University Graduates List

The Bowie State University in the United State of America recently held a convocation ceremony graduating over 500 students from its various levels of programme spanning through undergraduate and graduate degrees.

The university which is situated in the state of Maryland during the ceremony at Leonidas James Physical Education complex announced the names of graduates from doctorate, masters and bachelor degrees.
The announcements showed that among the graduates from the departments in the various faculties (colleges), there were always the names of Nigerians.
However, one of such names that topped the list was Kolawole Oluwatunbi Ogunlana, who was one of the five awarded the degree of doctor of science.
Ogunlana was one of the only two Phd graduates from the department of computer science. A further enquiry into his pursuit revealed that the he majored his research on ‘Modelling and Simulation of Agent Behaviour in a Goal Finding Application for Evaluation’.
Also among the graduate degrees were those at the Masters of Arts and Science levels.

The university had two Nigerians Jennifer Ihinosen Agbebaku and Chukwuemeka China Ndolo among those who finished their masters of arts in organizational communications.
Others are: Modupe Oluwaseun Sodeinde (masters in applied and computational mathematics); Babatunde Tolulope Adekoya and Isiaka Kamagate (masters in computer science); Elizabeth Oluwayemisi Balogun (master in business administration); Kehinde Oluremi Ogundiran (master in public administration); Olabintan Vincent Akinsola, Ezinne Aniemena, Olufunmilayo Ayodeji and Uchenna Florence Ndolo (masters in management information system).
Apart from these, many other Nigerians were also part of other departments like psychology, mental health and human resource management.
To crown the ceremony of the day, the university also announced the names of those whom it graduate from the undergraduate programmes.
One of such programmes where Nigerians dominated was in Bachelor of Science in nursing with 11 out of the 31 mentioned.
