The Lagos government acquired saloon cars and Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC) to fight rising insecurity in the state.
The state governor, Akinwumi Ambode officially donated the equipment to security operatives on Friday, November 27 at the state house in Ikeja in an attempt to put an end to the growing concern expressed by Lagosians on the issue of insecurity.
He urged the security outfits to make sure that the facilities are used efficiently in order to clamp down on crime in the state.
The newly acquired cars will be stationed in strategic points across the metropolis for effective policing.
