Former Governor of Plateau State and Senator representing Plateau North Senatorial Zone at the National Assembly on the platform of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Jonah David Jang has informed his constituents that he will honor an invitation of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) today 14th January 2016. The Senator made this known through his Legislative aide, Barr. Olivia Dazyem as commissioner during the 2nd term of Jang between 2011 and 2015.
Ms Dazyem in a statement said the Senator felts the need to clarify the public especially the people of Northern Plateau he was indeed invited by the EFCC to give further explanations to some perceived grey areas for which former appointees of the Governor have been severally invited to the EFCC without any evidence to back the spurious claims and allegations by some petitioners.
The Senator is also calling on all his supporters to remain calm and ignore any frivolous stories that may be told about his visit to the EFCC.
