Governor Lalong promised to acquire Barc Farms back to PLSG, clear outstanding salaries

Plateau State Governor Simon Lalong disclose that his Administration has recorded huge success on the plan to acquire Barc Farms from its current owners. Governor Simon Lalong said this at an annual Thanksgiving of ECWA Plateau church Jos. Governor Simon Lalong use the opportunity to intimate worshipers at the special thanksgiving service of state, saying his administration has focus on sectors such as education, agriculture, Civil service and infrastructures pointing towards delivering the rescue mission.
According to Governor Lalong in response to the need of the economy of the state and agricultural development program, the plan will be rolled out during his tenure and that the acquiring of Barc farm is critical to the success of the policy.
Lalong also said parameter has been put in place to evaluate the investments of Government in the education sector annually and specifically noted that steps taken to revive the state University are yielding positive results.
The Governor promised to approve funds for the completion of projects he inherited from the past administration which is demonstrated already with the completion of the fly over bridge at Secretariat junction in Jos and that government vigorously pursues bail out packages approved for the payment of salaries by the Federal Government and hinted that when the process is completed, monthly outstanding salaries will be cleared.
The guest speaker at the occasion, Prof. Torshima said the joy of Christian is not in accumulation of wealth but with the knowledge that the eyes of the Lord is on them from the beginning of the year to the end. ECWA President Jeremiah Gado represented by his vice, Rev. John prayed for the prosperity of Plateau state.
Highlight of the occasion is the over whelming celebration with song of praise in appreciation to God.
