The singer wowed with her incredible vocals that many believe would have made Bowie proud
The singer moved viewers to tears as she belted out a medley of the legendary singers greatest hits in front of a celeb filled crowd at the Staples Centre.
In the longest segment of the show, Gaga delighted fans with her spot on vocals which led people to quickly declare she was the best woman for the job and would have made the singer, who died of cancer in January of this year, very proud.

Another tweeted: “Paying tribute to an icon can't be easy, @ladygaga did a great job. #Grammys2016.”
While a further fan declared: “Lady Gaga is the greatest performer of our generation. #GRAMMYs.”

He also revealed that Gaga was one of the first choices to pay tribute to Bowie, as he said her name "popped into my head pretty quickly" when he thought about what they could do to pay tribute to the late British star.
Thankfully, he said "she really wanted to do it and it worked out”.
