The Nigeria military has confirmed two female
suicide bombers on Monday, December 28, denoted Improvised Explosives
Device in Madagali village in Adamawa.
This confirmation was made by Brig.-Gen Victor Ezugwu, Brigade Commander of the 28 Task Force Brigade,I n Mubi.
He said: “Two female suicide bombers struck at a motor park in Madagali and detonated their devices and we lost some beloved country men.”
Ezugwu explained that situation has been brought under control stating that security had been beefed up in the town but declined to disclose the number of causalities of the attack.
He told the people to be security conscious and vigilant of their surroundings.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria, eyewitnesses stated that the two suicide bombers denoted the bombs at the motor park around 9am adding that several persons lost their live while some sustained serious injuries.
Meanwhile, the latest suicide bombing is coming on just less than 24-hour after the minister of information and culture, Lai Mohammaed had told reporters how to handle the reportage of news and information when Nigeria is at war stating that Nigerian army had met the deadline on flushing Boko Haram.
President Muhammadu Buhari had ordered the militray three months ending in December to flush Boko Haram elements from the northeast.
The statement of minister did not, however, went down well with Nigerians who took to the social media platform, Twitter, to lash out at him.
