Wife Storms Husband's Wedding To Another Woman

An angry wife stormed a wedding in Kenya to claim that the groom was legally married to her, but no one will believe her and the eight-month-old baby she was carrying.

When the situation got a little messy, security operatives whisked the groom and his bestman away from the scene.
The lady, Lydia Achieng carrying her eight-month-old son, arrived at the Presbyterian Church of East Africa (PCEA) early and informed the pastor that the groom, Charles Manoa, was her husband, but she was looked upon as a killjoy.

Angry church members pounced on her even before she accessed the wedding hall.
They beat her  in front of a crowd who had threatened to storm the ceremony.
Standard Digital reports that armed goons and plain -clothed police officers from the nearby Elburgon police station stopped the mob.
When the situation escalated, police officers whisked the groom away and it was not immediately established where they took him.
According to Lydia, she had two children with Manoa during more than two-year cohabitation, but the first born child died.
“Even if the wedding proceeds, he remains my husband and the father of my children. He left us about a year ago and I only got wind of the wedding ceremony recently and lodged my complaint with the authorities,” Achieng said.
The infuriated Achieng described the man as a Ugandan national who had escaped into the country to hide.
She wondered why security officers led by Elburgon OCS were deployed to protect an illegal ceremony.
The entrance to the church compound was locked immediately Achieng was consoled away by several women from the nearby Elburgon market who abandoned their wares and rushed to the scene.

Pastors of the PCEA distanced themselves from the wedding, claiming that the couple had only hired the church hall for the wedding.
The disheartened bride was reportedly left behind staring at the beautiful cake engraved with the names Caro and Charles.
A variety of food that had been prepared for the hundreds of guests were abandoned as everyone deserted the venue.
Meanwhile, an ugly event has taken place in Tana River county, an infuriated husband has allegedly cut a man’s ear after catching him in bed with his wife at their home.
