Vivienne Westwood

Vivienne Westwood’ s showcase for her 2016 collection emphasized on relaxed glamour, sensuality and a rather sophisticated feeling.
For the collection, “Long, sinuous silk dresses, with glaucous blue silk jackets draped casually and coolly over the shoulder.  Beiges and military green, signature lowered bustlines and asymmetric buttons; pointed brogues in bright red and black.  Menswear elements peered out from slashed, tailored womenswear with skirts splitting completely to one side to reveal casual and ultra short boy shorts and flashes of bright orange and hot pink.  These were set against pastel rubix cube prints in scarf silks draped over pleated beige wide-fit culottes and bombers.  Collaged art patterns on kimono coats and printed baggy sports pants with drawstrings at waist, colours contrasting at the fronts and backs provided a sportier angle to the season. Colours were eclectic, from brunswick to chartreuse greens, mauves, red tartan, hot pink and shimmering blacks on plastic and silver metallic chiffons and netting.”

Phoebe English

Phoebe English is a luxury womenswear label creating garments with an attention to precision and beauty. For her collection, Double and triple layers of strapped black and white silk textures formed shirts, dresses and skirts, worn with crêpe and linen draped skirts – the hems of which were fraying by Models who wore flat, Japanese-style leather sandals with open backs, echoing the cut-out elements of the garments.

Danielle Romeril

Danielle Romeril channeled his inner 90s as his collections consisted of tunics over trousers, and deconstructed shirts had echoes of 90s Yohji Yamamoto but given a refreshingly cool new take by Romeril. Black lace Dr Martens with preppy school socks completed the looks, with black painted graphic lines on the models faces.  Zips and drawstrings were used throughout the frame, draw in and undo an ice blue leather skirt, maroon cocoon bomber coat and waist-skimming poplin white shirts, with oversized sleeves and cuffs.
