NSCDC sealed off some private security companies in Jos

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corp (NSCDC) have sealed off some private Guards companies operating illegally in the state. Plateau state Commander of the (NSCDC) Felix Bolade said the sealing became imperative following the refusal of the guard companies to register with the command which is the body authorized to issue License to them. According to the state (NSCDC) commander Felix Bolade, Private security guards operating without lease pose security threat to the society as they do not meet all the requirements to provide security, Bolade added that the (NSCDC) proceeded to seal the Companies they failed to register after notification.
Head of private guards companies of the (NSCDC) plateau state command Adebayo Popoola who lead the team said that this is a continuous warning in the state to PGC who do not have the capacity to secured lives and properties will be met with appropriate sanctions.
The companies sealed include Lion security company who according to Popola were still operating despite been sealed before and Stone guard security Tudunwada Ring road in Jos.
The team also visited Samako security agency alleged to be operating from residential building which contravened with the law concerning establishments of PGC’s.
The operation also took the team to the Royal Crown Academic were the head teacher was cautioned for using seal security personnel.
Adebayo Popoola advised the public to desist from using fake security personnel especially in this period of security challenge nationwide to avoid falling victim to criminals.
