Sinead O'Connor is 'safe and sound' after distressing messages posted on Facebook

SINEAD O'Connor posted a message on her official Facebook on Sunday afternoon, which sounded distraught.

 WENN SAFE: There has been confirmation that Sinead is safe and sound
But officials at Gardaí at Pearse St station have reportedly confirmed that singer, Sinead O'Connor is "safe and sound" and "receiving medical assistance" at 6.07pm.
The post included statements such as: “The last two nights finished me off and "I have taken an overdose."
It carried on: "There is no other way to get respect.

"I am not at home, I'm at a hotel, somewhere in ireland, under another name.”
It later states: “well done guys, you've finally got rid of me. Sorry the penny didn't drop sooner. I'm an idiot.”
According to the Irish Examiner, a spokesman for An Garda Síochána said that they cannot comment on cases involving named individuals.

Sinead recently announced she's quitting music.
She, again, took to Facebook to tell her fans and wrote: “I need a new home. And a new job. A new life … Music is over for me. Music did this.
“It rendered me invisible. Murdered my soul. I’m never going back to music.”
