A Customary Court in Ile-Ife, Osun State on Monday dissolved a marriage of 10 years between a log seller, Olusola Onifade and his wife, Simbiatu when the man declared that their pastor, Femi Olayinka had snatched the woman from him.
Olusola urged the court to dissolve the marriage because Pastor Femi Olayinka has taken the woman from him and that he was just a figurehead husband while the pastor was in charge of the woman.
He also told the court that the Pastor had threatened to kill him if he refused to leave the woman for him.
The husband said he was persuaded to attend Pastor Femi’s Church known as Christ Miracle Church, Orisun-Iye, Power Line, Ajebamidele, Ile-Ife and that he took his wife there without knowing that the pastor would snatch the woman from him.
“I was disappointed when Pastor Femi confronted me and told me that he was already having sexual intercourse with my wife. He told me he is responsible for her pregnancy and warned me to stay away from the woman if I still want to live,” Olusola said.
Simbiatu in her submission admitted that her husband’s claim was true and also told the court that she was no longer interested in her husband, insisting that she would prefer to go with Pastor Femi.
The President of the court, Chief Bunmi Adegoke after listening to both parties, ordered the dissolution of the marriage and directed that their two children should be in the custody of the husband.

With the 2017 Africa
Nations Cup (AFCON) qualifying double-header against Egypt fast
approaching, the new Super Eagles technical crew will definitely be
faced with the dreadful task of choosing the right players to do the job
for Nigeria.
Here are five players that can ‘safely land’ the Super Eagles of Nigeria
in Gabon 2017.
1. Victor Moses: Arguably Nigeria’s best creative attacker at the
moment. Moses has proved beyond doubt that he is a threat to any
defence, anytime, any day.
He was part of the Nigerian team that won the 2013 AFCON tournament in
South Africa under Coach Stephen Keshi and was very active at the
tournament. His effort paid off in their last group match against
Ethiopia as he got two late goals from the spot.

The 25-year-old was also exceptional in the semi-final and final of that
tournament.
Although, injury has gotten the better part of the Nigerian, Moses’
brilliant strike helped his EPL club West Ham United to overcome
Blackburn from a fine finish in the FA cup.
No one has been able to fill the big vacuum his absence has created in
the Super Eagles. He should be recalled.
2. Brown Ideye: The sensational forward has just won his first-ever
league title in Europe with Olympiakos. The player has scored seven
goals this season.

Ideye’s wealth of experience will be crucial in the game against the
Pharaohs as he is obviously fit and has always been in action, having
scored 45 goals for Dynamo Kyiv, West Brom and Olympiacos in total so
far.
3. John Ogu: Another quality central and defensive midfielder. Ogu who
currently plays for Israel’s Ligat HaAl table toppers, Hapoel Be’er
Sheva, is currently having an exceptional season.

Despite being in the defensive midfield row, Ogu who got married few
months back netted the winner for his side against Hapoel Kfar Saba in
the 43rd minute to ensure Hapoel Be’er Sheva extend their lead on the
log to 63; five points clear of second placed Hapoel Tel Aviv.
He will be very effective against the attack force of the Hector
Cuper-led Pharaohs.
4. Anthony Ujah: The sensational striker has scored nine goals for
Werder Bremen this season.
Ujah scored a brace against his former club Mainz to help his team ease
five successive defeats.
It would be recalled that the player was part of the Super Eagles under
Stephen Keshi during the 2013 FIFA confederation’s cup in Brazil.
The 25-year-old was on target this weekend in Bremen’s 2 – 2 draw at
home to Darmstadt, and also played full 90 minutes, an indication the
striker is in top shape.

He is very good with power and pace which the Eagles must have, in a bid
to crush the Egyptians.
5. Vincent Enyeama: Yes; he has retired from international football.
Nigeria needs Vincent Enyeama more than ever against Egypt.
Although he might not have publicly said Sunday Oliseh’s option to
choose Ahmed Musa as captain over him forced him to dump the Super
Eagles, Enyeama is still Nigeria’s most brilliant goalkeeper.

The 33-year-old had pulled series of quality saves which have been a
major reason Lille are still above relegation zone in Ligue 1.
Enyeama’s wealth of experience is very crucial, although Carl Ikeme and
Austin Ejide are good choices as well.
