Willian was rated by the media as Chelsea’s best player in their 4-0 win at Maccabi Tel Aviv in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
Gary Cahill, Willian, Oscar and Kurt Zouma scored in Israel as Chelsea moved top of Group G, but nobody in the Blues side massively stood out, according to the onlooking media.
Willian scored an average mark of 7.625/10 from the Daily Mirror, Daily Mirror, Daily Telegraph and ESPN FC, helped by a 9/10 from the latter, but Cahill was the only other player to receive an average of more than 7/10.
Asmir Begovic impressed the Daily Telegraph, earning a mark of 8/10, but otherwise there were a raft of 6s and 7s handed out.
Cesar Azpilicueta and Baba Rahman each picked up one 5/10, while Costa got two, making him the worst-rated Chelsea player on the evening.
